From Composer’s Pen to Performance in Five Days!

I decided to attempt the impossible for Palm Sunday. Could I write an anthem and perform with a volunteer choir in five days? The answer was an affirmative ‘yes’!

Last Sunday (Palm Sunday) we performed ‘Hosanna to the Son of David’ that I wrote and completed on the Wednesday before Palm Sunday. The choir bought into the idea! We rehearsed it at Friday’s rehearsal for about 20 minutes and performed at the 10.15 service on Sunday morning.
