The local stop allows performers Kristin Heysse and Brianna Haus, now seniors at Concordia College-Moorhead, to showcase their skills in Bethlehem Lutheran Church, a space they once sung in as high school students. Heysse, a math major and Haus, an organizational communications major, grew up singing as part of the Youth Chorale of Central Minnesota, a community choir made up of select students ages 14-18.
“It’s great to be back there because I have so many memories of building up to where I am now,” Heysse said. “It’s unbelievable. I’m a third-year member (of the Concordia Choir) and I still pinch myself every day. I knew I wanted to go to Concordia, not to study music, but to sing in this choir.”
