Dear NYC Singers,
Our musical director and conductor, Judith Clurman, has been asked to assemble a large chorus of 600 singers for Marvin Hamlisch’s funeral.
As you might imagine, Marvin’s passing is not only a great loss for the musical community at large, but is also deeply saddening for Judy and those who knew him well. As an ensemble, Essential Voices USA has been enriched by the time they were able to spend with him, and those who were blessed enough to perform with him will be forever changed.
We would like to invite you to sing with us at Marvin Hamlisch’s funeral this Tuesday, August 14. If you have friends who are singers, or are a member of another singing organization, please feel free to pass this invitation on to them as well.
