The upcoming Northwest ACDA Conference in Seattle will feature the addition of a reading session highlighting scores that are not available from traditional print music publishers or retailers. As detailed in an article on the NWACDA web site, I am looking for recommendations from conductors and composers of sites and particular pieces to include in the session. The article contains more specific information about the session and the kinds of pieces we are planning to feature.
This will be the first session of this type that we know of, and we expect it to be an evolving format. I welcome all ideas and suggested improvements, both before and after the session, on any aspect of the session, technical or artistic. Join us in Seattle!
