The Cardinall’s Musick, the Estonian Philharmonic Choir, Clare College Choir, the Cistercian Monks of Stift Heiligenkreuz, the Choir of Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford and The King’s Consort will be featured in the first hour of Great Sacred Music this Sunday beginning at 8 a.m. eastern. They will sing medieval plainchant as well as music by Hieronymous Praetorious, Arvo Part, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Henry Purcell and George Frederic Handel. At 9 a.m. you can enjoy Cantata 46 by Johann Sebastian Bach followed by Erik Satie’s Messe des Pauvres. At 10 a.m. Domenico Cimarosa’s Requiem will be presented in its entirety.
