Certainly the music – singing, practising, and performing under excellent leadership – is the reason to meet each week. However, the social bonding is the second major influence for the group’s success and longevity. Because the music is mostly secular, the group created an option for singers. Folks have a new opportunity to sing with others from different churches and communities.
Bonding began with coffee after practices, merging into coffee and snacks after practice in the school staff room. The tradition continues, allowing members from Graysville, Elm Creek, Sperling, Roland, and Carman to visit with each other.
