“Väge täis lood” (could be translated as “Pieces full of power” or “Stories full of power”), released in Monday, August 27, 2012 in Estonia contains a choice of the works originally written or arranged for mixed choir – a cappella or with accompaniment.
All the represented composers: Evald Kullerkupp, Enn Kivinurm, Neeme Plutus, Peep Pihlak, Ahti Bachblum and Jaanus Nurmoja are from Rakvere or at least closely related to this Estonian city of about 17 000 inhabitants. Sven Peterson, leading the Edition SP Muusika believes that this publication would be just the first one, at least for Rakvere.
One goal of the initiators – SP Muusika in collaboration with Rakvere City, Rakvere Culture Center and other counterparts – is that also other Estonian regions and municipalities would try to discover their undiscovered or poorly known creative talents in music composition field helping so to distribute their works more largely.
