SWINDON, UK — Singers, musicians and patrons who have hit the high notes with the Kentwood Show Choir over the years are being invited to a reunion. The choir, which started 48 years ago with just five members, will be reuniting past and present members at Wroughton Club, in Devizes Road, Wroughton, in July. Musical director Sheila Harrod said she is looking forward to seeing familiar faces at the reunion, which is being organised by Nicolette Morland and Sue Skillen.
“It is not being put on by me but obviously I would love to see some of my old students. I will be popping along,” she said.
“Kentwood has been going for 48 years. It started with five girls in my parents’ living room and we have been going all that time.
“I have taught hundreds of students over the years.
“The idea is to get everybody together who was in the choir.
