February 22, 2017 by Philip Eoute Leave a Comment

Warren Cook will conduct Dan Forrest’s newest major work Jubilate Deo at the storied Orchestra Hall in Chicago’s Symphony Center on April 3.

Join the Bob Jones University Chorale and Symphony Orchestra with Rivertree Singers on April 3, 2017 for the final concert in the series. Tickets are available online.

You can also hear Jubilate Deo in Greenville, S.C. on March 2 and 11. For more information visit bju.edu/jubilate.

“Dan Forrest has captured the global essence of Psalm 100 in his joyful and expansive Jubilate Deo,” said Cook, Director of Choral Activities at BJU. “His use of seven languages and traditional instruments from each of the cultures transports the listener from the ancient Middle East to Asia, from South Africa with its vocal and drumming traditions to Latin America. The satisfying and celebratory seventh movement unites all the earth, singing as one, omnis terra, jubilate!”
