Next Sunday November 20th, promptly at noon, there will take place the Eucharistic celebration of Christ the King in the Parish of the same name of the Augustinian Fathers in Valencia (Spain), Calle de San Vicente Mártir 126.
As customary in the past 11 years, Cantoría Hipponensis will participate in this celebration singing during the mass and offering a small concert afterwards from the High Altar
For the mass, Cantoría Hipponensis will offer the Messe Brevis of Charles Gounod, as well as pieces from Padre Antonio Soler, G.F. Haendel, Tomás Luis de Vitoria and Anton Bruckner.
The brief concert to be delivered after the mass will include pieces of the English, Spanish, French and Italian Renaissance of the XV and XVI centuries from authors as Juan del Encina, Thomas Moreley, John Dowland, Pierre Certón and Josquin Despres.
