Butler University (Indianapolis, IN), is now accepting applications for admission to its Master of Music program in choral conducting for Fall 2014. With the support of the School of Music, and in close collaboration with the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir, multiple Graduate Assistantships (typically full-time tuition remission + stipend) are offered.
Butler’s Master’s Degree in choral conducting provides close teaching/mentoring and professional training in a supportive and culturally rich environment. Recent choral performances and collaborations have included the Durufle Requiem, Puccini Gloria, Beethoven Symphony Number 9, and the Berlioz Grand Messe des Morts with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. Students work closely with choral and instrumental specialists including James Mulholland and Director of Choral Activites Eric Stark.
