“Autumn, at sunrise, and the skies are so blue every day.
Hear the magpie call, butterflies like crystals in the sunlight,
Golden Autumn leaves are falling from the trees, currawongs at play
Wattles, dancing, swaying in the sunshine,
awakening the day’s menagerie* of life.
Days are getting colder and trees lose their leaves in the swift, cool winds,
The menagerie in my garden awaits the dawn.
It’s Autumn, feel the sunshine
And the skies are an amazing shade of blue, every day.” … Sherelle Eyles
