A Change of Pace for “When I Survey The Wondrous Cross”

If you like to program “When I Survey…” during Lent, but are tired of the familiar melody, give this new arrangement, set to “Hereford” by Samuel Wesley, a look. It’s easy to put together, each verse utilizes a little different choral approach, and the anthem reminds of the English Cathedral tradition. Here’s a link:

    You may submit this piece to be included in Musica International database (www.musicanet.org). There are already 33 different versions of this hymn in the database…

      Thank you for this suggestion. I have thought several times about getting my music on MusicaNet but haven’t followed through yet. (But with 33 different versions of this already there, should I add this one?!!)
