What type of art do you create?
I am a director of several groups:
I put together a female quartet, Brown Eyed Darlings, I’m working on a male quartet, I put on musicals (the most recent being “Annie”), musical reviews and I am currently a teacher at Mardela Middle and High School where I am the director of choirs and musical theater.
Describe your performance style:
Choir, musical theater, contemporary a cappella, barbershop, Sweet Adelines.
When did you start creating your art? Why?
I guess I really started doing the a cappella scene when I started a group No Girls Aloud in college. It was an all guys a cappella group and we got to sing at several really cool places. After that, I helped a couple of buddies of mine to start Salisbury University’s first contemporary a cappella group, Squawkappella, and then that just lit a fire that hasn’t stopped burning inside of me.
