Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s vocal/choral division will host a free OkMEA/OkCDA Vocal All-State Workshop on 8 October 2016 for those students who are competing in the All-State Choir competitions. The workshop will consist of choral sectionals and full ensemble rehearsals from 8:30 AM to 12 PM and a 1:30 PM-5:30 PM mock audition and performance tip lecture where students will sing cuts made from each of the selections of the OkMEA/OkCDA Vocal All-State music. The faculty of the vocal/choral division then give students critical comments to aid in their future auditions for round 1.
Please complete this form to register your students for the workshop. There is no limit to the number of students from any school. The number of audition slots, however, is limited to two per school, barring numbers allowing for more auditions due to registration. If your students wish to audition in the mock audition, please have them sign up for a specific slot below. In the “Name of students” section, please list junior high or high school.
