In the September Collegiate R&R column in Choral Journal, the spotlight will be on non-major/open enrollment collegiate choirs! By the proposed definition, a non-major/open enrollment choir is any ensemble (1) with students who are new to singing or in their first few years of music/voice study, (2) with a significant percentage of non-music majors or instrumental majors, or (3) with a blend of campus and community participants.
Collegiate instructors, please take this brief survey to contribute 2-3 repertoire selections suitable for non-major/open enrollment choirs. These selections will be featured in a repertoire list in the September column!
Deadline to submit your ideas is June 10!
