Instead, I will temporarily place myself inside of a different box as an educator. Believe me, I will be busting out of that box and shredding it ASAP.
I will start off by saying, that OF COURSE, I will claw and scrape to make Distance Learning meaningful for students. But “embracing” sounds too loving. I don’t love this. Do any of you love this?

I am so glad the point of view is helpful. Social media tends to cause people to shy away from admitting their vulnerabilities. It can make us feel alone.

Chris THANK YOU!!! I have not been able to do anything much with my choir due to our focus with our school: Review and reinforce. We had worked on music for Concerts and contest which are all cancelled. I have students that don’t have the technology, they don’t even have cell service where they live. We are in a very rural area of Boone/Randolph county. I have felt bad that I am not doing much more than meet on Zoom for connection and just to talk….Thank you for helping me feel justified in that I am not embracing this learning…..Next year my school is going to 4 day week and is cutting budget where it can…I do worry about not being “necessary”.
