Welcome once again to GBW.  This week on Memorial Day you will enjoy a special Memorial Day salute to recognize the human sacrifices of our military members and their families.  The music was selected  especially for this occasion and runs continuously  as we honor those who served…Let us hop and pray that war will stop and peace will prevail…….You will enjoy music by the U.S. Navy and Marine Bands &, Air Combat Command Heartland of America Band. The Dale Warland Singers, The Cathedral Choir and Schola of St. Philip’s in Atlanta, GA. And selections from the Armed Man Mass by Karl Jenkins.    Some of the compositions you will hear are, We Shall Walk Through The Valley in Peace arr. by Moses Hogan; Remembrance by Dan Locklair; Agnus Dei by Barber, Some Gave All by Cyrus; the 23rd Psalm from the Requiem by Herbert Howells; a stunning arrangement of Amazing Grace for Brass and three selections by the Armed Man Mass of Karl Jenkins.    Hope you find the music meaningful for your Memorial Day.

For a look at the CD’s used and a complete list of the music heard go to the blog of WWW.GONGBEYONDWORDS.COM website and click on show 2432
