Temple University Concert Choir Tour to New York & Boston - May 19 & 20, 2014 with Classical Movements

A program of exquisite works will be performed, including Herbert Howells’s Requiem, a stunning and moving a cappella piece written in the early 1930's and released just recently in 1980.  The program also includes a piece by the Latvian composer, Ēriks Ešenvalds to be premiered on tour, which was commissioned by the Temple University Concert Choir.  Praised for its versatility, the choir of graduate and undergraduate students enjoys a regional and national reputation of excellence, frequently touring abroad to such countries as China, Venezuela, and Puerto Rico as the choral ambassadors of Temple University.
