Presents A FAMILY THING
Husband wife, parent child, brother sister: These are just some of the complicated relationships that define us. Join Artistic Director Matthew Greer and the singers of Quintessence for “A Family Thing,” the finale of our 25th anniversary season. Featuring the music of Bill Evans, Leonard Bernstein, Simon Sargon, Maurice Durufle, and the world premiere of a new work by Bradley Ellingboe, “A Family Thing” also includes a special appearance by the UNM Jazz Choir directed by Lauren Saeger. Come join our family as we perform songs about the people we love most…and some because we have to!
To help families in need, we ask that you please bring new or gently used clothing for Joy Junction, New Mexico's largest emergency homeless shelter.
Saturday, May 19th at 5PM at Immanuel Presbyterian Church and Sunday, March 20th at 3PM at St. John’s United Methodist Church.
Tickets are available at the door and complimentary childcare is available. For more information, visit www.quintessence-abq.com or call 1-505-672-TUNE.
