ChoralNet Moderators

This dedicated group of volunteers is responsible for establishing the policies for posting to ChoralNet forums and monitoring submissions to those forums and announcement boards.  They maintain constant contact with each other to maintain consistency among themselves and serve faithfully to maintain the civility and professionalism of ChoralNet.
 
Frank Albinder Frank Albinder has been involved with ChoralNet in some fashion since the mid-1990s. He served on the ChoralNet Board of Directors as Vice-President of Lists and Forums prior to its merger with ACDA. He conducts the Washington Men's Camerata, the Woodley Ensemble and the Virginia Glee Club, the men's chorus at the University of Virginia. He is president of Intercollegiate Men's Choruses, Inc., served two terms as ACDA's National Chair of Repertoire and Standards for Male Choirs and is on the national board of the National Collegiate Choral Organization. He was a long-time member of Chanticleer, with whom he sang in all 50 states and 20 foreign countries, and performed on 20 of the group's recordings.
Marie Grass Amenta Marie Grass Amenta, attended Chicago College of Performing Arts of Roosevelt University for both undergraduate and graduate school in music education/choral conducting. She has taught music in public and private schools throughout the Chicago area and has served as director of choirs for churches in the western and southern suburbs of Chicago. She currently directs the Midwest Motet Society, which brings quality chamber choir repertoire to the Chicago Southland. Marie has spoken and written about music inclusion as well as using music as a tool for reaching those with disabilities.
Brigid Coult Brigid Coult, originally from the UK, is part of the Canadian contingent involved with ChoralNet. She has been involved in choral music all her life, and is currently Director of Music at St Mary's Anglican Church, Kerrisdale in Vancouver, BC, and Conductor of Richmond Chorus, a 70-voice community choir. She's a past-President of the Association of Canadian Choral Conductors, and a long-serving member of the British Columbia Choral Federation, with which she is now on staff.
Dean Ekberg
Recently retired from a long career as a high school choral conductor and as a church musician, Dean Ekberg continues to supervise student teachers for Mansfield (PA) University and actively serves the New York State School Music Association as an adjudicator both for soloists and choirs. He is currently coordinator for NYSSMA's voice adjudicators.
Thomas Tropp
Thomas Tropp is a music educator, conductor, editor, and recording producer. Owner of SoundByte Studios, a music services firm specializing in CD production for choral ensembles and Managing Editor of The Galant Masters Project, which produces critical performing editions and recordings of eighteenth century liturgical music. He is on the music faculty at North Park University, the Chancel Choir director at First Presbyterian Church of Lake Forest and a doctoral candidate at Northwestern University. Tom lives in Lake Forest, Illinois, with his wife Anne and daughter Katie.
