Music for the great Basilica of St. Mark in Venice
Saturday 4 February 10:00am-6:00pm
St. Mark’s Episcopal Church
520 North Boulevard, Richmond, VA
Featuring music by Willaert, the Gabrielis, Monteverdi and Lotti. The workshop will culminate in an informal concert at 5:00pm (admission free). Participants will receive copies of music to download and soft drinks will be provided. Participants are welcome to bring their own lunch or visit local restaurants. Registration and coffee on February 4th is from 9:30am in the undercroft at St. Marks.
Adults: $50.
Full-time Students under 25 years of age: $25
Seniors over 65 years of age: $40

Workshop leader, Dr. Philip Cave was a founding member of the Tallis Scholars, and is founder and director of Chorworks and the celebrated English ensemble Magnificat. As conductor and singer, he has performed worldwide with many leading early music ensembles and worked extensively in the USA as conductor, teacher and clinician, directing choral workshops and masterclasses.
