Song for athene, i think has a double bass part,
but its really easy. its
the one they sang at princess diana's funeral.
There is a jazzy set of three Christmas pieces for
choir and bass by, I
think, Henze? They are in German.
I also have a *Hodie Christus Natus Est* for that
combination (SSATBB, treble
choir, cb, opt brass 4tet or keyboard & opt
drumset) that is in the style of
HWZ. Please let me know if this would be of
French church music for choir, organ and double
bass (and sometimes harpa) in the second half of
19th century (Fauré)
And some collegues suggested to do pieces by
Schuetz or Bach (Jesu, meine Freude) with
You all helped me very much. I ordered many of
those pieces at my music store.
In autumn I will do a concert (with my chamber
choir CAPPELLA VOCALE NEUWIED) with pieces of this
