Audition for Exigence, a new professional vocal ensemble

Let by founding director Eugene Rogers, the mission of EXIGENCE is to promote excellence and diversity through choral music within Black and Latino communities by
creating a platform for soloists and composers of color while inspiring and challenging audiences around the country and world.

EXIGENCE will premiere in Detroit in 2018, with
performances on Feb. 2nd at SphinxConnect – the Sphinx Organization’s national convening, the epicenter for
artists and leaders in diversity – and on Feb. 4th at the Finals Concert of the national Sphinx Competition for young Black and Latino string players.

Would you like to be a part of EXIGENCE? Auditions will take place in the following cities, as well as online!
