Contemporary Welsh composer, Karl Jenkins, CBE, sets some of humanity’s most compelling texts in this 73-minute, multi-media, world-music masterpiece. The Nazareth College Choir, the Rochester East High School Choir and the ROS sing words of peace by the Dalai Lama, Ghandi, Terry Waits, Rumi, Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King and many others, to the accompaniment of RITA collective’s brilliant multi-instrumentalists For our fourth annual collaboration with the University of Rochester Humanities Center, we welcome the Rochester Public Library, Thomas Warfield and PeaceArt, NTID, and Writers & Books to our community-wide commemoration celebrating national poetry month.
