Join the Ensemble and Chorus of Choral Chameleon in Brooklyn, NY as we present the culminating concert of our Summer Institute for composers and conductors.
This concert is offered free to the public, providing a safe platform for risk-taking. You can feel the energy in the room, around the work created within an intensive 7-day period!
The 11 world premieres will be performed by Choral Chameleon’s 16-voice professional lab Ensemble, conducted by Artistic Director Vince Peterson and by conducting faculty member Matt Oltman.
The 4 student conductors will lead the larger semi-professional Chorus through established works of choral repertoire, including Debussy, Duruflé, Howells, Larsen, Stanford and more.
This year’s students at the Choral Chameleon Summer Institute are being mentored by David Conte, Jeffrey Parola, Steve Smith, Joseph Stillwell and by Composer-in-Residence Dale Trumbore. (Faculty bios are available on our website)
