Fire (from Elements) – by Katerina Gimon, Cypress Choral Music Publishing

August 26, 2021 by Larry Nickel Leave a Comment

“Fire” is the 3rd movement from award winning Canadian composer Katerina Gimon’s four part composition “Elements”. This set of works abstractly depicts the four classical elements and explores the human voice’s wide range of capabilities. “Fire” is a fun and energetic work incorporating vocal percussion, body percussion, nasal singing, calls and nonsense syllables. See the links for wonderful examples!
