The 2012 World Choir Games, to be held in Cincinnati, will have an estimated economic impact of $73.5 million, according to a University of Cincinnati report released Thursday.
“In terms of the number of people coming to Cincinnati from around the country and the world, and staying for several days to a week or more, this event is comparable to a mid-summer World Series or Super Bowl,” said study author Jeff Rexhausen of UC’s Economics Center for Education and Research.
