Chicago Children’s Choir – South African Workshops

Learn more authentic approaches to singing and teaching traditional black South African choral music. Chicago Children’s Choir continues its Future Music Educators Initiative with a four-day South African Workshop from August 20-23, 2019.

This study of Black South African choral music will be led by renowned singer, music director, composer and theatrical producer Bongani Magatyana. This multi-evening workshop is designed for current music educators, future music educators/current music education students, and Chicago Children’s Choir alumni.
