Am planning a short program on Virtues (truthfulness, honesty, loyalty, etc. Need a strong, simple, harmonized finale. Guitars and hand drum available. Theme could be about service or friendship. Must be secular. SAB or SSAB.August 6, 2019 at 7:25 pm #595693Michael A. GrayParticipant
You might hunt down “Change the World” by Terri Esau. Mark Brymer made an SAB, piano arrangement of the piece (that score includes guitar chords). Like any good one-lick song, “Change” holds up to tweaking and added forces so you can adapt it to whatever talents you have available. It makes a great little encore piece and really inspires with its message of love as a powerful virtue. It’s not terribly comfortable; like its subject, the music works best when everyone gives nothing less than their all. No two performances are identical but The Imperials really showed what it could do back in 1992:
Hope that helps!
