I teach at a school that recently built a brand new campus, but the music room is less than ideal. We have a small room that is shared with all three music programs and little organization. Because there are no seated risers or platforms of any kind, we have chairs just sitting throughout the room that end up all over the place. I’m rather Type A and would much prefer if we had seated risers to at least keep some sort of order in the classroom, however the roughly $10,000 I was quoted is not something we’d be able to accomplish for many years, if ever. Does anyone know of cheaper seating options or other solutions that have worked in your choir rooms?

Hi, we just bought new seated risers that are far less expensive and seem to be great, though they are as yet untried. Here is the link to the website: https://choralrisers.com/index.php/seated-risers/seated-risers-packages.html
They have been great to work with, also. Hope this helps!
