I have been searching for glasses that will produce the correct pitches for the Esenvalds “Stars” for WEEKS. The concert is now next week, and I HAD a glass that would pitch to the E, but the students broke it. I now have no glass that will produce the E5 or the F#5.
If someone bought these glasses, could you please point me in the right direction? I have no idea where to buy these glasses and I’m now panicking.December 16, 2016 at 10:27 am #532551Simon LovelessParticipant
I can’t point to a supplier – I tried out all the glasses in my house and got my choristers (adults, which probably made it easier) to do the same), until we had the six notes covered. The top two notes were covered by port glassesDecember 16, 2016 at 10:27 am #532552John KennedyParticipant
You don’t need to find glasses that match the pitch written. Find lower sounding glasses, and fill them with water until the pitch is correct!
