It’s maybe not so curious as to why the humble #seashanty has become so popular recently, since its origins lie in being typically performed to keep the spirits of seafarers high during their work and to keep synchronised for tasks like hoisting sails and pulling in fishing lines, when everyone needed to be unified in pushing or pulling together – which is pretty much how things are for us all now! We are lucky to have some wonderful arrangements of these #folkmusic classics in our catalogue, which we’ve pulled together into one place and made them available as PDF downloads as well as in printed form. One of our Male Voice Choir customers reported that they had a sing a long of some of them at their last online rehearsal and they did indeed serve to lift their spirits and bond them further together.
Better still, we’ve put 3 of Rosa Conrad’s most popular songs into a new money-saving anthology and its currently on offer! All the pieces are suitable for any set of voices so will suit male, female or mixed groups. And, for those who are using online rehearsals, downloads are actually pretty useful when you can’t get hard copies to people since you can share them to all your participants via your screen.
(Just to clarify – our download prices are one-off purchases which allow you to make unlimited copies, not per copy).
