ISO Psalm 15 – Cesar Franck

May 8, 2025 by Catherine Detwiler 3 Comments

We are seeking copies of Psalm 150 by Cesar Franck,SATB, organ accomp. arranged by Samuel Richards Gaines, published by J. Fischer & Bro (or whoever may have taken over publishing this piece after that.) Publisher # is J.F. & B 5670-10. This piece is out of print and I am sepcifically searching for the above edition with the light blue “arch” design on the front of the octavo.  Pieces ideally should be intact and in good shape.

Would like to get 100, if possible.

The Monmouth Civic Chorus in Red Bank,NJ has 60 copies of the Franck Psalm 150, all the original J.Fischer issue #5670.
I’d be happy to sell them to you for $10 plus shipping.
I can be reached at or 732-264-8482.
Just let me know what you would like to do and I’ll go to our storage place and mail them to you – just give me an address. You can pay by check to MCC when you receive them.
    Thanks – Jenni

If you don’t know, you can track down the current copyright holder and you can purchase “permission” to copy however many copies you want. I don’t know if it would be a lower cost because you would be printing it, but you can at least get it. I’m guessing you have the copyright info, but if you don’t, please feel free to contact me as I have a single copy.

      Dinah,
I have several copies – we just need more. Many of the pieces we acquired earlier in our church’s life were destroyed last year by a flood. This is just one piece that I could not find a current owner/distributor of. And yes, I’d prefer to have octavos rather than photocopy them myself.

      Thank you,
      Cathie
