New Christopher Hoh PROJECT : ENCORE endorsement: Three Latin Prayers

PROJECT : ENCORE™ proudly announces the addition of Christopher Hoh’s Three Latin Prayers into the P:E Catalog of Contemporary Choral Music. 

Completed in 2010 as a triptych for SSATBB unaccompanied voices, the three coordinated, traditional texts – “Angele Dei,” “Agimus Tibi Gratias” and “Dona Nobis Pacem” – hold surprisingly ecumenical programming potential.  Each motet can be programmed independently, as well, by a mixed choir capable of some tonal chromaticism, with hints of modality.  “Dona Nobis Pacem” was written as a response to the outbreak of war in 2003.
