How many people think that life, the big decisions are made at a certain time that will eventually be in the future?
Saying “Life is now” seems a phrase that says many times that it is losing strength and that it is only valid when one makes great trips, knows people and, finally, with luck, something good and fortuitous happens. Well, it will sound like a cliché, an idealism, but the wonderful thing of life is happening now and we do not realize it because we are seeing a very distant horizon that clouds us the view of the possibilities that the present gives us. Today we have the ability to say “hello” and meet someone, to connect with people and ourselves, to set goals that determine us and enjoy this moment, this article and the situation that surrounds us. Every day we can set the course of our lives by making big decisions, we should not wait for the next trip or for a person to come to transform our lives.
With this message in mind the Argentine choral composer, Santiago Veros, was proposed day after day for more than 6 years, meet people from all over the world and bring them together to create music together. On July 20, 2018 he premiered his first virtual choir that included singers from all over the world performing a version of “Cuando Neruda Soñó. Now he is ready to redouble his bet by making “The Secret of life” in its virtual choir version. A work that contains the incredible inspiring words of the actor Matthew Silver. Santiago in this experience wants to renew the phrase “life is now” giving it more strength from the creation of a music that contains this message and double the bet embarking on a project that links 123 singers of 19 nationalities who have signed up to be part of the experience. So the composer hopes to change the way of thinking of many people so that each of them live with determination, spending more time to find their own desire and make it a reality. At the end of the day he admits that “the fact of wanting to gather people from all over the world to create music together is a very personal and particular objective, but it has taken a long time of reflection and self-knowledge to determine and live with courage such an autochthonous desire.”
