The nationally acclaimed Susquehanna Chorale invites interested adults (age 18 and over) to audition for its 2019-20 season. Specifically, the Chorale has limited openings for soprano 1 and bass 2.
The Susquehanna Chorale is an award-winning adult chamber ensemble of 36 auditioned singers, based in south-central Pennsylvania.
The Chorale, founded in 1981 by Artistic Director and Conductor Linda L. Tedford, is known for its commitment to artistic and expressive performance of a wide-ranging repertoire.
The Chorale has received critical acclaim for its work, including the Margaret Hillis Achievement Award for Excellence, the highest award given by the national choral association, Chorus America.
Regular season concerts include the Youth Choral Festival in November, three Christmas concerts in December, and two concerts in May 2020. Rehearsals are held weekly on Monday evenings in Hershey, from September to early May.
