Clare Shore’s New Work for Chorus & Solo Whistler

January 10, 2010 by Steve Herbst Leave a Comment

I am a life-long member of choruses and glee clubs — including nearly 32 years with the University Glee Club of New York City (http://www.ugcofnyc.org). In addition, as a professional concert whistler, I am always happy to see new works being created using a whistler, thereby recognizing the legitimacy of our musical art form. I listened to the lovely recording on her website; but alas, there was no whistler!
