FREE and OPEN TO ALL COMPOSERS
As a service to the community, Chorosynthesis Singers is currently seeking new, forward-looking, and distinctive choral compositions for use in a June 2020 concert performance. In addition, even if not selected for performance, all submissions will be considered for:
-inclusion in future reading sessions,
-other future performances by our ensemble,
-listing on our website and in our Empowering Silenced Voices Database (http://chorosynthesis.org/esvdatabase) for potential future performing ensembles, and
-highlighting via social media or conference presentations.
We welcome submissions of high-quality pieces you would like us to consider–especially pieces that demonstrate the power of human(s) with disability(ies) through the lens of their disability(ies). For more details and a form to submit your work, please visit http://chorosynthesis.org/callforscores
Chorosynthesis seeks to re-conceptualize and broaden the scope of American choral music by fostering innovation, sustainability, collaboration, and excellence in and among the choral arts and its communities through both a bottom-up and top-down approach. It is our vision that choral music is as relevant as possible, and our professional ensemble–CHOROSYNTHESIS SINGERS–works to accomplish that through the lens of social consciousness–matters of importance to all of humanity.
