Dr Michael Larkin directs the New Ark Chorale in a concert of American music for the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend, reflecting on the American experience. Book-ending music of Randall Thompson, Linda Spevacek, Moses Hogan and others is Dr Larkin’s own arrangement of America the Beautiful, and Peter Wilhousky’s Battle Hymn of the Republic.
