Fabio Alberti

Location: Italy
Graduated in piano in Bergamo Conservatory with Tiziana Moneta, he studied composition with M. Diego Passera; he is graduating with honors in science of education (University of Verona). He currently studies choral music and choral conducting with Maestro Lorenzo Donati at the "Bonporti" Conservatory of Trento. He attended in Italy and abroad training courses and workshops in music education and choral conducting, he participated to the teachers mastercourse held by M. Mora and D. Szabo (Hungary). He attended the European workshop for young composers of Aosta held by M. Makaroff. He works as an accompanist at the piano with various singers and instrumentalists. He is Artistic Director of Cultural Association and school of music "Dire, Fare Musicare" in Bergamo and he is director of  “Gli Harmonici” Children's and Youth Choir (with whom he has received prestigious awards at national and international choral competitions) and “Gli Harmonici” youth Orchestra. He conducts “Mousikè” mixed choir and he is a member of the Artistic provincial Committee of USCI (Italian choral union companies). He organizes and coordinates several courses for teachers and choir directors on the issue of child vocal and he teachs in seminars of education and choral music also in the international context (to be held the seminars in Ankara 2009, Saint Petersburg 2011) . It 'was an assistant of Aarne Saluveer in the XX International Festival "Choralies" of Vaison la Romaine (France - 2010). He organizes the annual festival for school choirs "Singing in School" of Bergamo.
As choir director has received the following awards:
(2007) XXV In Choir Competition "F. Gaffurio" he was awarded a scholarship named "Monsignor Bravi"
(2010) at the Second International Competition for Choral Choir of Malcesine, he was awarded with the special prize "Young Emerging Director"
As a composer was:
(2011) Winner of the Second International Competition of Composition of St. Petersburg - Russia in the category "Sacred Music" with two songs for children's choir.
His compositions will soon be published by “FENIARCO” editor in Italy and “JSC” Saint Petersburg editor – Russia.
