Choral compositions, sacred and secular.  Commissions.
Moderate to challenging in difficulty; interesting dissonances, polychordality.  SATB, some 2-part; several pieces for Women's Ensemble.
Most performed pieces are: Pastorale (trumpet and piano; flute and piano); Deep Sweet Peace (Benediction; SATB); 5 cantos sureños (SATB; about strife and love in a thrid-world country); Walt Whitman Settings (SATB; seet of 4);
Through the Mist (flute and piano), and compositions for piano solo.
Favorite composers: Morten Lauridsen, Paul Hindemith, Aaron Copland, Pat Metheny.
Exhibit influences: classical, pop, jazz.
