Rod is now retired as a Chartered Engineer by profession. He has a reputation as a restorer of musical instruments from woodwinds and strings to Piano, Harpsichord and Organ restorations. He runs a small business that focuses on concert recording and CD production - Rochester Engineering and has about 400 CD masters to his credit.
