Connor Koppin is a published choral composer and graduate of Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. Koppin's music is very much based on texture and form and therefore results in very well rounded, carefully crafted choral composition. He has had a number of pieces performed both in the Midwest and across the United States. In addition to performances at Minnesota All State and numerous honor choirs, his setting of "i carry your heart" was performed at Carnegie Hall in the spring of 2013. In the spring of 2014 he will have a piece premiered on national Belgium radio. He is currently living in Cedar Falls, Iowa and pursuing a career as a high school music educator either in Minnesota or Iowa. He hopes to attend graduate school for both choral conducting and composition.
