Please forgive me, Dianna.  I meant to write your first name while I was looking at your last name.  Oy vey.

You make me laugh, Walli - and you are not the first person to do that, believe me! Or they combine the two and call me Denise - which started with my 2nd-5th grade art teacher (and that was a LONG time ago!)
Again, Kudos!! :)

I think you must take heart: you've made it, Walli.   Have you changed anything in your compositional style in the last ten years?   I remember you having said you were Jennifer Higdon's first teacher ...

What IS making it, William?  Could it be having incredibly good luck?
Although Jenny was once a student of mine, she could probably teach me a great deal today.  YOU are a fine composer and you have a lot of time left to prove it.  Don't forget to write!

Congratulations, Walli–  you've done it again!

Hi Donald!
Thank you for your message.  This whole "ride" began with the C7 Competition for Choral Music.  It was my first International
win in 40 years; then came the Boston Opera International Competition; now The Green Dot International Contest!  I intend to
buy a lottery ticket ASAP!  LUCK runs in streaks.

Hi Adrienne!
Your kudos is much appreciated.  In another 40 years, I may finish engraving my grand opera, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
