FInale Conversion Help Please

I managed to rescue some old compositions from my grape iMac.  They were created in 3.5.2 and Finale 2000.  I was able to open and save them as .mus files through Finale Notebook 2007 on a G4 laptop running OS 9 in Classic mode.  I can save them as PDFs but how can I convert them to something Finale 2012 can read? The file structure changed in OS X.

Put them on a disk, into your new(er) computer and just open them in Finale 2012. I have brought a lot of files forward this past year - into 2012 and 2014 without problems. You do need to go through and edit carefully, but has not been a problem for me (even with files older than Finale 2000!)

If you are having problems, I'd be happy to do it for you.

If everything is readable in Notepad '07 and saved in that format, everything should open in FINMAC 2012. Files older than 3.5.2 might have to be opened in an intermediate version of Finale before you can resave them, even in Notepad '07.

Hope this helps,

I found this:
(although I'm sure you found it as well!).

You might need to save them as midi files and then import them into Finale 2012.
