Creating Artistry Conductor Workshop June 15-21, 2014,  Butler University, Indianapolis, IN.

Spend a week immersed the craft of conducting with Henry Leck and the Indianapolis Children’s Choir and staff.  Held during the Indianapolis Children’s Choral Festival on Butler University campus, you will see and work with hundreds of young singers…. network with conductors from around the world and explore some of the latest offerings in treble and mixed choir music.

Established in a nurturing environment, Creating Artistry offers an opportunity for conductors to further develop their conducting skills.  Through individual and master class teaching, conductors study Conducting Gesture, Vocal Techniques, Rehearsal Efficiency, Pacing, Score Analysis, Repertoire, Laban gestures, Dalcroze Eurhythmics, and Choral Administration. Laboratory choruses provided by the Indianapolis Children’s Choir give attendees the opportunity to explore actively the conducting processes.  It’s a great week of life changing experience.
