Last Weekend to Decide: Choral-Orchestral Conducting Masterclass Associate and Auditor Opportunity

Location: District of Columbia, USA
Associate and Auditor registration due Monday, February 3, 2014
Chorus America will present a Choral-Orchestral Conducting Masterclass in partnership with Mannes College The New School for Music, February 14-17, 2014 in New York City. This professional training program provides conductors with intensive conducting sessions in choral-orchestral repertoire, focused enrichment sessions, valuable networking forums, and instruction from esteemed coaches including David Hayes of The Philadelphia Singers and Mannes College for Music and Jorge Mester of The Louisville Orchestra. The assembled musical forces and opportunities to network with peers and to refine technique are all compelling reasons to make this part of your professional development plans this February.
Associates and Auditors can register through Monday, February 3, 2014.
  • Each Conducting Associate will be scheduled for a one hour lesson with a private coach, with the focus of the session chosen by the associate. Conducting Associates will also observe podium sessions and attend enrichment sessions on important professional development topics. ($350)
  • Auditors will observe podium sessions and attend general enrichment sessions. ($250 for full session or $100 per day)
