JS Bach Mass in b minor - St Peter's Singers

At 7.00 on Good Friday evening, Bach’s Mass in B minor will be performed by St Peter’s Singers with the National Festival Orchestra and soloists. At the organ and harpsichord will be David Houlder and Alan Horsey.
The Singers first presented Bach’s masterpiece here at the Minster in 1985 as part of the celebrations of the Tercentenary of the great composer’s birth, and has performed the work many times since, including, memorably at Leeds Town Hall in 1991 in celebration of the 150th anniversary of the consecration of Leeds Parish Church in 1841.
