International choir festival „Rodna Pesen Burgas“

International choir festival
„Rodna Pesen Burgas“
5-8th of June 2014

Burgas is the fourth biggest and one of the most attractive cities in Bulgaria, declared twice in a row to be “Bulgaria’s best city to live in”. The city is situated in the largest and best protected gulf of the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, with long beaches, beautiful parks, lakes and natural reserves with remarkable biodiversity.

Burgas has a rich cultural flare, being both birthplace and home to famous poets, composers, singers, actors, directors, artists, photographers and athletes with national and international prominence. The city is home to an array of festivals and events: the MTV Spirit of Burgas, The International Folklore Festival (IFF), youth-, theatrical and movie festivals. The ancient towns of Sozopol and Nesebar (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), as well as one of the World’s most ancient SPA resorts – the Mineral baths of Aquae Calidae, are located just kilometers outside of Burgas. Not far away is also the mystical Strandja Mountain, famous for its Thracian sanctuaries. The modern Cruise Terminal and the International airport of Burgas make the city a preferred destination for thousands of tourists annually.
